    Meh, it's alright. That's about it, hoses are good quality as is the frame. You will have to lay out the mounting holes instead of drilling as you go. The ratchet mechanism works sometimes, I have had this for a few hours and am not super impressed with any aspect of it. I can't be bothered to deal with the 鶹 runaround with how they handle returns now, so I'll deal with it. Just another ok product from 鶹.

    I got tired of stretching my air hose around my shop and then having to manually wind it up each time. Too often it was left laying across the shop floor as a trip hazard. I finally decided to replace it with a reel to make it easier (and safer).

    This reel can be installed in different positions. For my use I just bolted it to the wall of my shop. My only issue is that my wall is concrete so drilling the required holes took a lot of effort (not at all the fault of the reel, just my mounting position). Once mounted I connected the feed hose to my compressor.

    My biggest concern was for leaks. I generally leave my compressor on 24/7 and I didn't want it running all the time. With my old hose it never ran unless I was using air but there were no connections between the compressor and the quick connect end. When I connected it up the compressor started until the hose filled to the pressure set on my regulator. Everything worked great. Since there are connections inside the reel I figured leakage was inevitable and I was right, except that the leakage is so slow that my compressor runs for only a few seconds every few hours! I can absolutely live with that.

    The hose seems to be high quality and most importantly it is flexible which makes it easy to wrap on the reel. When you pull the hose out the reel click with a ratcheting system and locks on place. To retract the hose just give a tug on the hose and the ratchet releases and the hose rewinds fully onto the reel. No more trip hazard on my shop floor. With the reel mounted on a side wall of the shop there is plenty of hose storage capacity to reach to the other side (the shop being only 33 feet wide.

    Time will tell whether it stays as leak free as it currently is but several months into using it I am very happy with it so far.

    My old reel started leaking and when I tried to tighten it broke. Bought this and it is heavy duty, somewhat heavy and depending where you install it, may take more than one person. I really missed my drop lines while it was down but back up and very happy with how well made and heavy duty this is. Professional level!

    I love everything about this hose reel. I didn't really know much about them but I looked at a bunch of different ones and I just kept coming back to this one. As luck would have it, the hose that came on the reel sprung a leak from old age and pulling it in and out of the reel. I bought this unit in May of 2018 which makes it 8 1/2 years old. I have a one ton pick up with 35" tires on it, a Ford Explorer and a BMW 325CI convertible all with expensive tires on them and all that get checked and adjusted regularly. I also have 2 motorcycles and an ATV in the garage and a 30' Stryker Toy Hauler and Big Tex 14' landscaping trailer both with dual axles and 4 tires each so without even using air tools this reel gets used a lot. I also have two additional 50' spools of hose with quick disconnects so I don't have to worry about moving cars around or getting out to the RV out in the parking area. This hose reel has never failed me, never jammed or slipped. It always did its job perfectly and after 8 1/2 years I'm not angry that the hose is quitting as I never turn the compressor off because I can't stand waiting to fill the 33 gallon tank up. If you're on this page and looking at this hose reel, buy it and be done with it. Because like everything else, it's only going to keep going up in price. Also before you pull the trigger, depending on where your compressor is located in relationship to the reel, you'll need a short length of 3/8" hose to go from the compressor to the reel. Some guys do with with quick disconnects and some just do it direct like I did. My reel is directly above my compressor so a 3' length of hose was perfect. Do you homework so you don't have to make a bunch of buys. Do it once and get it out of the way. Remember, you get what you pay for. If you buy cheap, you're going to get cheap and your accessories won't last long. Buy a second or even 3rd 50' air hose and good quick disconnects. Buy a good airgun that will give you a good blast of air when you need it. This reels is a bit more expensive than other but like I said the hose quit and I'm not going to complain over 8 1/2 years of great service.
